30.12.2025

Elektrodistribucija hosted the event “Cybersecurity in Critical Infrastructure: Building Resilience Through Cooperation,” organized by OSAC (Overseas Security Advisory Council). The event officially marked the start of activities with a special focus on the energy sector as a key segment for national security, economic stability, and the uninterrupted functioning of society.

The event brought together national and international representatives from the public and private sectors, regulatory institutions, energy companies, and ICT and cybersecurity experts, with the aim of opening a strategic discussion on growing cyber threats and the protection of critical energy systems.

Expert insights were shared by Nina Ugrinovska, Senior Consultant and Chief Auditor; Anja Ivanovska, Information Security Officer; and Georgi Hadji-Manev, Head of the Information and Telecommunications Technologies Department. Their presentations focused on cybersecurity in the context of digital transformation, operational technology management, compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and NIS 2 regulations, and strengthening resilience in the energy sector. The discussions emphasized the importance of cooperation, information sharing, leadership responsibility, and investment in human capital as key factors in addressing the increasingly pronounced cyber threats to critical infrastructure.

Elektrodistribucija remains committed to supporting OSAC Skopje and to strengthening cyber resilience in the energy sector.
