In the first half of the year, Elektrodistribucija invested over 20 million euros in the modernization and reconstruction of the high- and medium-voltage distribution grid. These significant investments are aimed at projects designed to improve the quality and reliability of supply in the long term, as well as to increase the capacity and performance of the distribution grid.
 One of the major ongoing projects in the center of Skopje is the 110/35/10 kV “Centralna” high-voltage substation, with 11 million euros invested in its construction so far.
 
Another major investment – in cabling projects – exceeds 9 million euros. These projects include the replacement of existing overhead lines with underground cables and the construction of new cable lines spanning 110 kilometers across several locations, such as Aerodrom, Peštani, Zajas, Tajmishte, Strumica, and Delčevo.
By the end of the year, the installation of a new 110 kV cable along the route Jug Nova – Centralna – Vardar is also planned.
 
Through these investments, Elektrodistribucija is enhancing the efficiency and resilience of the entire system.
